Director of Music Ministries

Pleasant Garden United Methodist Church is seeking a half-time Director of Music Ministries. Applicants must hold a desire to lead, inspire and bring God’s people together through music; be able to read music and lead others in doing so; be experienced in church music, vocal performance, choral conducting, and hand bells;be familiar with and proficient in leading both traditional and contemporary styles; have the ability to play with, and vocally lead, small praise teams; work cooperatively with others in planning and performing together. A bachelor’s degree is desired. Primary responsibilities include coordination, oversight, and development of the church’s music ministry for two Sunday morning worship services, one contemporary and one traditional. We are located in a suburb community of Greensboro, NC, located just 15 minutes from downtown.
