Our hearts and prayers are with all affected, especially those for whom this is a life-threatening crisis. We hope and pray that Duke Energy will be able to repair the equipment quickly and restore power as soon as possible.<br><br>NC Conference Disaster Ministries is working with local churches in the area. The team delivered generators and solar power disaster response trailers to Southern Pines UMC and Vass UMC, a shower trailer to Pinebluff Fire Department, and a laundry trailer to Vass UMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pastors in the area are encouraged to contact the Disaster Ministries Call Center at <a href=\"tel:888-440-9167\">888-440-9167<\/a> or <a href=\"mailto:disaster@nccumc.org\">disaster@nccumc.org<\/a> with any questions or needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are ways you can help:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Give<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To contribute financially, you can give to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nccumc.org\/disaster\/give\/\">NC Storm Response Fund<\/a> to support local churches and community needs in the Moore County
