Announcing the First Ever Redeeming Creation Conference
God entrusted Creation into the hands of humanity, empowering us to be stewards of this good earth and all that is in it. Jesus proclaimed that he has come to give abundant life to all, and has called us to join him in ministry to all the world. Does our stewardship of God’s Creation add to that abundant life, or take away from it?

At the Redeeming Creation Conference, we will explore what it means to be stewards entrusted by God with the care of Creation. Come be a part of the first ever creation care conference held within and by the NC Conference of the United Methodist Church, and learn what the Bible says about creation, and how we can apply these teachings in our homes, offices and churches.
Our keynote speaker for this event is Dr. Jerusha Neal, Assistant Professor of Homiletics at Duke Divinity School. We will also be led in a Bible study by esteemed professor and theologian Dr. Ellen Davis, as well as get a look at the work being done for environmental and racial justice with the Rural Advancement Foundation International. Our day will be topped off with a panel discussion on the false disconnect between faith and science.

Event Time: 9:00-4:00
