September was a great month for Creation Care in the North Carolina Conference.
We started with the Bishop leading us in a worship service centered around what it means to be a creature and care for other creatures.
Then we had a series of webinars on creation care, highlighting everything from the theology of creation care to practical ways to reduce your carbon emissions to how “the least of these” are the first to be damaged by human environmental degradation.
Many churches also spent September focusing on creation care, with sermon series and Sunday school lessons alike on the subject, as well as highlighting the work of local creation care committees, and even starting new creation care committees.
Quite a few have reached out to me asking for the video recordings of our webinars and worship service. I am happy to say that all of those are now available and can be accessed at this link.
The video archive is also accessible under the “Events” tab on our webpage.
Please feel free to share these webinars with your church, your community, your team, or wherever you think they might do some good for God’s green earth. They are there for your use.
If you have any questions, or if you are looking for help in promoting creation care in your local setting, or if you are looking for a speaker for your event on creation care, please let the committee know; we want to help.
