This month, The North Carolina Conference will again host a Transition Seminar for all the churches and pastors who will be experiencing a ministerial change in appointment. There will be 4 locations to accommodate these meetings.
On Sunday, May 21st, from 3 pm to 6 pm, moving pastors will attend the meeting corresponding to the District of their new appointment. We are asking these pastors to register their attendance here.
At the Transition Seminar, you will receive information on ending your current appointment well and strategies to begin your new appointment with enthusiasm and excitement. You will also have the opportunity to meet the S/PPRC members, who will be attending from your new church, and get acquainted with your new District Superintendent and Administrative Assistant to the DS (AADS).
Clergy retiring, taking a leave of absence, being appointed to an Extension Ministry, or taking an appointment outside of the NC Conference, are not required to attend the Transition Seminar.
The S/PPRC chairperson and another S/PPRC member from each church will attend the Transition Seminar held at the event affiliated with their District.
We are asking the laity to register your attendance here.
