The Kentucky, Central Appalachian (formerly Red Bird), and North Carolina conferences have been blessed to be the recipients of many gifts from across our denomination in response to disasters in our areas.

Tropical Storm Fred Disaster Recovery
In August, Tropical Storm Fred caused devastating mountain flooding in western North Carolina, particularly in Haywood, Buncombe, and Transylvania counties. Bishop Fairley invites churches and early response teams to help our sisters and brothers in the Western NC Conference in their disaster recovery efforts before the winter months set in.
