Dear Friends,
God’s heart breaks with ours whenever violence explodes in the human family. We mourn and weep with our sisters and brothers in France and around the world.
Let us pray where we are in this moment and when we gather in worship.
LET US PRAY
Let us pray today in sorrow and solidarity
with those who suffer in Paris and
around the world:
for those who lead the compassionate response in Paris to violence and death,
for the turning of hearts from violence,
for the mayor of Paris, the President of France,
for emergency and public safety officers,
for clergy and community leaders,
and people of faith and good will who are offering comfort and care,
for this whole world God loves.
We offer this prayer, remembering to share in every moment of our lives the light and hope of Christ.
