Bishop Hope Morgan Ward announces the appointment of Rev. Tara Culp Lain as Superintendent of the Harbor District, effective June 23, 2020. Rev. Edith Lee Gleaves, currently serving as Harbor District Superintendent, will become Lead Pastor of Ocean View United Methodist Church, Oak Island.
Rev. Lisa Naa-Shormey Yebuah will serve on the Cabinet as Spiritual Director and Advisor on Diversity and Equity, effective July 1, 2020, as she continues serving as Lead Pastor of the Southeast Raleigh Table. In this role, Lisa will work with the Bishop to continually deepen spiritual life, prioritize diversity, inclusion and equity, and embody Wesleyan practices in the life of the Cabinet.
