Bishop Ward and Conference Youth President Cooper Sykes invite you to worship during a conference-wide youth Sunday service on Pentecost Sunday, May 31.
Bishop Ward:
Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Very soon it will be time to wear our red and yellow and orange. The day of Pentecost is May 31 and the youth of our Conference indeed have visions and dream dreams. They are planning an amazing celebration.
Cooper Sykes:
As the COVID-19 pandemic has swept across our nation, many churches have been forced to postpone or even cancel their Youth Sundays. Therefore, our Conference Youth Ministries team has been working hard to ensure that youth still have the opportunity to partake in a meaningful Sunday in their life as young Methodists. We are thrilled to announce that there will be a Conference-wide virtual Youth Sunday airing on Pentecost Sunday, May 31 at 5 pm on live.nccumc.org. The message will be given by our very own Bishop Hope Morgan Ward and the service will be inclusive of all people of our Conference – different races, ages, genders, everyone will be included. We are so excited about this service and we hope that you will find the joy, togetherness and love that you always find in Conference Youth Ministries. Hope to see you there.
Bishop Ward:
Come Holy Spirit as the youth of our Conference lead us in worship on the afternoon of May 31.
