Bishop Ward reminds us of the $1 million Annual Conference goal for Imagine No Malaria and encourages us to be active on World Malaria Day (April 25) raising money to eradicate malaria.
Grace and peace to you, Easter people.
Thank you for your generous engagement in the “Imagine No Malaria” campaign of The United Methodist Church. The North Carolina Annual Conference goal is $1,000,000, and we’re over half way there.
I’m wearing an Imagine No Malaria tee shirt, creatively designed for the Sound district walk/run. World Malaria Day is later this month on April 25. That’s a great day, a great time, to do something creative and fun to raise money so that we will reach that goal, that dream of malaria being an historical memory and not a current reality.
As we gather at Annual Conference, we will receive a grand offering for Imagine No Malaria. Thank you for expressing your commitment, through Christ, to be in mission with all Gods’ people to end malaria. Thank you for your generosity.
