I can’t see or hear anything on the video stream, what do I do?
This year the video stream has been embedded into our website. To access it, make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player. When you navigate to the Annual Conference video stream page, your browser (Internet Explorer) may prompt you with a little yellow bar just under the address bar at the top of your screen. It will ask if you would like to allow Active X to run. Follow the steps to allow it, and click run. After doing this, you should see the stream begin to play.
If your browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) does not prompt you, but you just see a blank screen, try refreshing or pressing the play button on the video player.
As a last resort, you can view the stream by copying the video stream link (http://pl.pscdn.net/002/00262/live1.asx) and opening it into your favorite media player (Windows Media Player, Quicktime, etc.)
I have audio, but no video, what’s wrong?
Try refreshing the page to reconnect to the stream.
I see the video, but can’t hear anything. What should I do?
First, make sure your volume isn’t muted and is turned up. Second, try refreshing the browser. If you still have trouble, try another browser to see if you get the same error.
Where can I find the supporting documents being mentioned at Annual Conference?
Supporting documents can be found on the 2010 Annual Conference event page, or the Annual Conference page on the Conference Secretary’s section of the website.
How can I stay connected throughout Annual Conference?
Other than continuing to check the Annual Conference pages mentioned above, the easiest ways to stay connected are via our Conference Facebook and Twitter pages. We have a Facebook Event page created for Annual Conference, and are using a Twitter feed to bring Annual Conference conversation to our website. If you are tweeting about Annual Conference, be sure to add the #nccumc hashtag to your tweet so you will show up on our feed!
