Please read the voting information very carefully as you prepare to come to the 2019 NC Annual Conference. We will use handheld electronic voting devices. There will be a number assigned to each of the candidates to facilitate the use of the voting equipment. The results will be displayed on the screens after the votes are tallied. We have developed these materials to assist you as we move through the voting process.
Please keep in mind that the NC Conference is an inclusive conference. We desire to have a delegation that will represent and reflect the annual conference.
I urge the laity who wish to serve, or know someone you wish to elect, as a delegate to General or Jurisdictional Conference to submit a Laity Profile Form. The lay person will be assigned a number to be used on the electronic voting device. Elders and Deacons in Full Connection may submit a Clergy Profile Form but this is not required for election. All clergy eligible to be a delegate to General or Jurisdictional Conference will be preassigned a number to be used on the electronic voting device. All Profile Forms submitted by the deadline will be posted online with the person’s number for the electronic voting devices.
Be in prayer for our conference as we meet and for all of our people who are about God’s business. If you have any questions regarding these things please contact the Conference Secretary’s Office.
