Breakaway  – an event for youth from middle school to high school age – is an exciting week for youth to devote themselves to Christ through a Christian community establishing a strong relationship with God.  The theme is THE CIRCLE OF LIFE.  A circle has no beginning and no end.  For humankind, life begins at birth and seems to end at death.  Life in Christ, the Alpha and Omega, is like a circle – never ending.  With God at the center of our lives, we live in that circle of life. Each day at Breakaway features a morning assembly to celebrate community life, growth groups (by age levels) to focus on spiritual growth, meals in the cafeteria, movie groups (by age levels) to create and produce movies for a film festival at the end of the week, free time with some structured recreation offered, worship services and an evening program (icebreakers, concert, dance, talent show).  The week concludes with an inspiring communion service on Friday night.
