Critical Drivers Data Entry – Second Quarter

We have begun receiving questions about the timing of the critical drivers data entry in light of pastors who are changing appointments. Since the data entry period is the first week of July, we are planning to leave the appointments as is in the On-line Data Collection System until Monday, July 9. That will give pastors until July 8 to enter the data for the appointment they had through the second quarter. We will change the appointments in the system on July 9 to reflect the new appointments and to prepare the system for charge conference data entry. If you are changing appointments and feel that this data entry after the move will be troublesome, please email your second quarter critical driver information to us at helpdesk@nccumc.org before you move and we will enter it on your former church’s record for you.

Where do I go on the website to fill in this report? Can you email it to me or do I need to download? Please send detailed directions. This is not my area of expertise to do an online or electronic report. Thank you. Tryon Lancaster

This report can be filled out July 1-6 using the Online Data Collection System. Once you have logged into the system you can select “Critical Driver Dashboard” off the main menu and you will see the four questions that need to be filled out. Once you are finished filling in your information, please check the box that says Form Complete and click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.

When I went to the critical drivers dashboard on Friday, June 29 It did not show the data I had submitted from the first quarter of 2012.  I WAS REALLY SURPRISED TO SEE OUR MISSIONAL GIVING WAS LISTED AS 0% AS OF DEC.31, 1969!  Bethesda UMC in Robeson Co. in the Gateway District has definitely paid some apportionments for 2012, but nothing at all was showing up .  I don’t know how 1969 got in the picture for the second quarter of 2012.  I do not expect any response at all to this until at least Monday, July2.  I hope someone in the Methodist Building can respond to me on Monday, July 2.  Brian Perry

We were making some updates to the database at the end of last week which inadvertently affected the Critical Drivers page on the Online Data Collection System. This page has been restored to full functionality and now displays the proper amounts of apportionments paid.
