Immediate Call for Hands on Ministry at MERCI Mission Center!

Posted under: Global Outreach, Health, Love for Liberia, Missions

Children in Africa, especially the children living in rural areas, desperately need access to the basic commodities for health.

MERCI Center needs volunteers this Monday 12/6/10 and Tuesday 12/7/10 to prepare Health Kits for shipment on Wednesday to Africa. We have 6,000 health kits that are complete with the exception of toothpaste. We need volunteers to open each health kit, insert a tube of toothpaste and reclose the zip lock bag and we are done. Challenge here is that we have 6,000 to reload. Those who can, please come on Monday or Tuesday between 9:00AM and 4:30PM. We are also in need of 6oz tubes of toothpaste if you are able to bring some but that is not required – WE NEED HANDS !!!!!!  Our address is 676 Community Drive in Goldsboro NC 27530  1-888-440-9167.

MERCI Newsletter … Join Us in Ministry!

Posted under: Global Outreach, Local Outreach, Missions

Here is the latest MERCI Center newsletter.  There are many new and vibrant ministries happening!  Come and join us and together we will journey with Jesus!

MERCI Center recently enhanced its ability to respond to natural disasters as well as to address the needs of our other ministries through the purchase of a commercial box truck.   This vehicle has a 20 foot enclosed bed and is equipped with a power lift tailgate. The vehicle will facilitate the transport of cleaning buckets and other relief supplies as well as provide a valuable transportation tool for our other ministries.  We want to say thanks to all the generous folks who worked hard to make this addition to our fleet a reality.  Read more at MERCI ME Nov 2010
