Reverend Laura Fine Ledford

Laura is an ordained elder in full connection in the North Carolina Conference.  She is originally from Asheboro, NC, and has also lived in Vermont and Singapore.  Laura received her B.A. in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and while worshiping at Christ UMC in Chapel Hill, experienced her call to ministry.  She graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2008 from Duke Divinity School, and has served as the associate pastor at All Saints’ UMC and Hayes Barton UMC, both in Raleigh.

In June of 2011, Laura began her work as the Associate Director of Ministerial Relations. This position allows her the opportunity to encourage those discerning a call to ministry and support individuals who are navigating the candidacy process in the NC Conference.  She loves to hear the stories of how God calls ordinary people, in ordinary places to do extraordinary work for the Kingdom. Contact her to share your story, and to learn more about ministry in the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Laura and her husband Rodney enjoy chasing after their two fantastic and funny little boys, and cheering for the Tar Heels.
