The North Carolina Conference has had a lending library of resources for local churches, pastors and laity since 1955. It has transformed and redefined its collection from 16mm films, phonograph records and film strips to DVDs and the internet! As we begin the 53 rd year of service, there will be a change that will increase the access that all churches will have to the resources that are carried in the Media Center. We will no longer collect a small membership fee year from “membership” churches. The support for the operation of the Media Center will come directly from the Conference Budget. How the Media Center “works” will stay just the same. If resources are being mailed to you, you will only be responsible to pay for the return postage. The church will also be responsible for any loss or damage, beyond normal use. There will be a registration process as a way to keep correct addresses and names of contacts up-to-date. A copy of that form is available on this website. As always, a timely return of materials helps them to be accessible to others. The NC Conference Media Center's collection includes VHS tapes, DVD based studies and programs, books and curriculum examples for use with all age groups. A catalog of resources that are part of the Media Center is available through this webpage. Please contact the Media Center if you have any questions, would like to place an order or would like some suggestions for resources to use in your ministry. This cart may be used to send me an email about those items you would like to order. Be sure you list dates that you would like to schedule. Your order will not be confirmed until you hear back from me in a responding message. A special thank you goes out to those loyal and generous churches who have faithfully supported the Media Center's ministry through past yearly membership fees. Their contribution helped keep this “connectional” ministry strong.
