Cokesbury Grand Re-Opening
The Cokesbury store in Raleigh will be celebrating the grand re-opening of their newly remodeled store all next week, March 12-17. In addition to special sales, free Common English Bibles, and reusable shopping bags, Bishop Gwinn will be storytelling on Thursday, March 15th at 10:00am, and Chick-fil-a will provide free chicken biscuits to the first 100 customers on the same day. Take the kids to meet the Chick-fil-a cow and Ms. Milly Smiles the clown on Saturday, March 17th, 12:30pm-2:00pm. SEJ Historical Society Meeting
The Southeastern Jurisdiction Historical Society is having their annual meeting from July 9th to July 12th in Nashville, TN. They are encouraging participation by anyone interested in the history of Methodism, especially church historians, with the hopes that these people return to their churches to share what they have learned. In addition to the informational sessions, the meeting includes tours of Mt. Olivet Cemetery and the Upper Room Chapel and Museum. The registration deadline is April 9th.
