Catalog Search Tip #7: Hispanic Resources

In our online catalog, Spanish words that use accents and tildes will need to be entered as is in order to return search results.  You cannot substitute the English version of the letter (without the accent) and get the results. Therefore, if you are searching for Spanish words, please use the Alt key code on your keyboard to enter the Spanish character or copy and paste from a web page like this one.  Several of our titles or descriptions are in Spanish, so you would need to use these Spanish characters to get the complete results.  Alternatively, you can try these options to find our resources that are in Spanish:

• Search for the word “Spanish” or “Español” (with the tilde – Alt+164) in the Description
• Choose Ethnic Ministry or Multiculturalism from the Subject menu
