Catalog Search Tip #6: Resources for Youth
Following our last tip on searching for children’s resources, there are similar ways to search our online catalog for resources for youth. First, try the following subjects:
- Adolescence
- Bible; Youth
- Christian Living Skills; Youth
- Confirmation
- Training for Leaders of Youth
- United Methodist Youth Fellowship
- Young Adults
- Youth Ministry
The catalog can also be searched by keyword in the title, author, description, and publisher fields. When you open an individual catalog record, you will see Age Groups at the bottom of the record. If the following categories have an X underneath them, they are appropriate for youth or young adults:
- J = Junior High/Middle School
- H = Senior High/High School
- Y = Young Adults/College
