Lake Junaluska Ministry Summit 2011July 31- August 2, 2011 - The contemporary context presents challenges and opportunities that are vastly different from even a few years ago. Churches and pastors are finding old ways not working, and new ways are hard to discover and even more difficult to implement. Caught between the church of the past and the new church that is emerging, pastoral leaders can learn clues to the future from pioneering practitioners and thinkers at the 2011 Ministry Summit, ”Leading in a New Day.” |

Covenant Coaching CirclesNew cycles begin in August and February of each year: - Covenant Coaching Circle is a Wesleyan-style covenant group that is infused with coaching leadership. Circle members clarify their life purpose, create goals and share how they are doing around them. You will cover goals in three areas: spirituality, self-care, and a ministry project related to life purpose. |

IGC Basic Coach TrainingAugust 11 – 13, 2011 - IGC Basic Coach Training is designed to equip pastors, ministry leaders, and church leaders with basic coaching skills that can be integrated and incorporated into their local ministry setting. Coach training can dramatically enhance the ministry leader’s effectiveness as a leader and greatly increase the impact within their faith community and the larger local community. |

Accelerated Coach Training 2011August 14 – 19, 2011 - The Accelerated Coach Training Program is a five day, on-site intensive coach training experience. Over the span of five days, participants recieve the core materials offered in both core and advanced coach training. |

Lake Junaluska Peace ConferenceNovember 13-15, 2011 - The fourth annual Lake Junaluska Peace Conference, “Poverty, Abundance, and Peace: Seeking Economic Justice for All God’s Children,” will lift up some of the systemic causes of poverty and economic disparity to help participants better understand these issues and to be equipped as change agents to work for alleviating these causes of poverty for a more just and peaceful world. |

Distance Learning OpportunitiesOngoing - Through our distance learning classes, the Intentional Growth Center offers “connected” learning, coaching, and support for ministry. The classes use telephone conferencing and/or an Internet based visual presentation technology so that you can participate from the comfort of your home or office saving the expense of travel and room and board. The telephone technology we use allows for interactive discussions including processing the material through small group discussion. |

Social Justice MinistriesLake Junaluska’s social justice ministry events enable persons from all ethnicities and diverse faith backgrounds to come together for holy conversation, training, advocacy, and formation – to address current and historic injuries and misunderstandings of issues such as poverty, marginalization, racism, healthcare disparities, and more.
