Welcome to the Office of Congregational Development of the North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church.
The Office of Congregational Development exists to provide resources, training and consultation to local church leaders in order to strengthen a church’s ability to fulfill its God-given ministries. A major focus of the work of the OCD is to assist the N.C. Conference in meeting its goal of beginning, on average, five new churches a year, and to identify and aid, on average, five existing churches each year with major redevelopment of their ministry focus.
