Funding Source: Youth Service Fund (YSF) is a mission fund exclusively funded by United Methodist Youth. YSF is money raised and spent by youth to benefit youth locally, nationally and internationally. The NCC YSF Task Force determines how monies raised by youth within our conference are spent. The conference youth treasurer and one youth representative from each district make up that group.
Applications Due: January
Amounts Awarded: A reasonable grant request range is $100 – $2,000.
Description of Projects Funded: Ministries and programs that benefit young people and would not be considered typical local church youth ministry activities (such as mission trips) may be considered for a Youth Service Fund grant. Funding for program continuations will be considered. A DVD about YSF is available for local church use from the NCC Media Center.
Funding Cycle: Grants are offered annually.
