Carol Goehring

Executive Director/Church Revitalization

Rev. Carol Goehring understands the life of pastors and churches. In 28 years of ministry she has worked with congregations of all sizes in very different locations.

“About a third of that time, I served as the pastor, teacher, secretary, janitor, and worked with all age levels. Thankfully, for the congregation, I was not entrusted with the role of musician! The other two thirds, I was part of a staff, preaching, teaching, honing administrative skills and connecting people with places of service for Jesus Christ's sake.”

For the past 5 years Carol has seen things from a different perspective through her work with the NC Conference, serving first as a District Superintendent and now as the Director of Connectional Ministries.

“It's a great time to be the church! Needs and opportunities for transforming lives are all around us. The amazing thing is, God continues to shape me -- and all of us -- to fulfill his purposes. I bring to this team strength in maximizing potential, strategic planning, and a love of learning.”
