Welcome To the Childrens’ Ministry webpage!

We have a newsletter of sorts with monthly articles on various aspects of children’s ministry written by leaders of children’s ministry within the NC Conference UMC.  We call this “ABC’s…123’s…A Place to Start.”  Click on that title to the left and the articles will be available to you.  If you would like to comment on any of these articles, please return to this page and click on “Welcome” at the top of the page and the comments box will appear below.

An evaluation/assessment tool for children’s ministry for local churches may be found under “Evaluation tool”. These questions and thoughts to consider are designed to help a local church reflect on children’s ministry – what is happening and to be celebrated – and what remains to be done to be in ministry with all God’s children.
