The Information Technology and Communications Offices continue to work to resolve all of the major issues that were discovered after last weekend’s building move. All Conference systems are functional as of this writing with the exception of the Conference Listserv server. Unfortunately that server did not survive the move and will have to be rebuilt. Further work on the Conference network must be completed by the internet service provider in order to ensure the best possible performance of our e-mail and website servers.
Please note the following:
- The Information Technology Office will work to rebuild the Conference listserv server as quickly as possible. Please continue checking this website for updates. There is no need to report mailing list outages at this time.
- There are several thousand e-mails in the various mail queues that must be processed now that the e-mail systems are back up. It will take some time for all of these messages to be delivered. If you have not received any e-mail all weekend please be patient while the mail servers catch up with demand.
- Until the work with the Conference internet service provider is completed the web and e-mail services may run slower than usual. If you experience time out errors while accessing our services try to access them again. If the second attempt does not work then wait a few hours and try again.
Please feel free to use the contact page to contact Douglas Ward or David Reid directly with any questions or concerns. We thank you for your patience while we work to resolve these issues.
